![]() Most great coaches in things like sports or performance weren't ever great themselves, but that doesn't mean they don't know what they are talking about and can't help others improve. What do stats have to do with their advice? How well you can analyze something or advise on something doesn't necessarily corollate with good stats. I really want to know how successful I can be following that advice and how fast it will take me from my potato stats. ![]() I think that is great!!īut why do so many of them hide their stats? They should be showing how great following their own advice has made them. I see a lot of players that are brimming with great advice, always willing to tell people how things should be done, both in game and out of game. For an example if someone is trying to tell me the exact way I should play a DD I want to know is that a good solo DD player, are they only good in a division where they have other people looking out for them too, or are they trash all together and just telling me how they feel it SHOULD be played and not the best way to play it. If someone is going to give me advice I'd prefer to look at the situations that person has been involved in and figure out if it is feasible advice. Sadly it is possible to fail your way to the high tiers. I don't mean to offend, but I won't really take someone's advice about combat mechanics unless he/she has proven they know what they talk about. But when someone starts giving advice, wouldn't you want to know if they have the necessary experience and performance to give this advice validity?īesides, aren't people who hide their stats as conscious of their stats as the people that care about their stats?
